The 40-yr-previous posted a black and white photograph along with his wife to Instagram, marking their 16th year as husband and wife.

Hitting two birds with one particular stone, the athletics champ wrote in the picture’s caption: ‘Hard to consider it is been 16yrs… Satisfied Anniversary and Content B’day to my wonderful wife. You are the ideal!’

Double the celebrations: Australian tennis winner Lleyton Hewitt shared a sweet tribute to his wife Bec on Friday. In the photograph, the pair are smiling from ear-to-ear as they delight in a day out on a boat.

Bec, who was most a short while ago featured on Dancing With The Stars, blew out 38 candles on Friday.

The few tied the knot at the Sydney Opera Household on July 21, 2005.

And 16 many years after the pair mentioned ‘I do’, the poem Bec recited at the ceremony has resurfaced – many thanks to snarky Instagram account Celeb Spellcheck.
